We needed a place to hangout, so we built a lounge

After moving into the new office in July 2013, we left our ground floor … empty, only used it for motorbike parking. We have taken up this two-floor space with the hope of using one floor for office and the other for event. However, we ran out of ideas of how to make it useful. Until recently, a cool partner decided to join force, and the result was that we have transformed our ground floor into a cozy Chocolate lounge. Now it became our second office where our guys (and gals) could have an “ambiance switch”.  And it is also spacious enough for a small gathering or workshop. It’s called Mm..Chocolate  Lounge.

We are really proud of how it turned out to be and would love to show it to you here. And if the image below is not cool enough, all the lights are remotely control by our iPhone app ;)

This lounge was designed to function as both as a working and as a cozy event space. We understand that developers sometimes want privacy while working, hence we arranged several working corners for that purpose.

Here is a sofa for long yet comfy group discussion.

 

An uplifted bar-style desk with green view for reading or chit chat is available too.

A long desk is featured at the center of the space, ideal for events, especially workshop and hackathon.

We also have a couple of outdoor seats so you can have fresh-air and scenery view of Phu My Hung.

 

At this moment, we are still upgrading this space to make it even better and probably more “Chocolate”.

You may ask “Why Chocolate theme for a tech start-up?”, our answer is “Why not? We probably need a romantic touch to keep everything balanced”. We all know, getting too “technical” is not so good.

So this is our lounge and we open from 10am till late. You are always welcome.

Just let us know when you could drop by, we will treat you with our signature Hot Chocolate Mocha.
